Not so Lucky against Lowlife people!

The fat, ugly, Hispanic fella came to me again the other day and said that I would be called to the office  to discuss the position. He added some more bullshit and I only confirmed! Later during a general meeting it was said, by the evil woman, that everyone can apply for that position! Hispanic fella then said that I needed to give my resume to her! You see? Motherfuckers have no clue of what's going around them and now they request my resume. An irrational reaction would be breaking both of the animals neck and set them on fire to be a good example for the other motherfuckers who practice favoritism but we live in Canada and doing such a thing would end up in court and eventually jail! So I said: Why would they need my resume?! He said some bullshit and I said okay. It means the position is gone. I think the evil woman decided to give it to one of the girls on the floor. Fuck them. They are all motherfuckers who came from absolute poverty. Eating a full nutritious meal or driving a car was a dream for them in their home country and even now they eat shit and live in ghetto and knowing my background is a continuous disturbance for them! Just to show who these people are, this animal Hispanic guy told me that he would want to go to his home country back in Sep. of last year. I asked him a few times after that if he was going and he said it would be expensive, because of the tests. The motherfucker fills himself with nasty sugary doughnuts and filthy sandwiches every day! If he saves that money, he would not only be thin and healthy, but also would be able to make that trip happen! Filthy, fat, animal! Later during the day I felt a bit of awkwardness between me and him and also the evil woman but I acted normally. I don't give a shit. I will have to work hard to get myself out of this hole.
(Photo: It must not be so related to the post but since I mentioned ghetto, I thought it'd be nice and fair to write about Calgary's ghetto as well. This is the east part of the city and falls in Southeastern quadrant and [SE] starts from what the city calls it International Avenue! And the reason they call it International is you can see war refuges and other types of poor people who ran away from their country of origin and sought asylum in Canada: Vietnamese, Kurds of Iraq and other countries, many many Africans who used to work for $0.25 and now would do anything for $15 and hour, Afghans, you name it. The funny thing is the City of Calgary thinks but putting a few flower vases and painting murals they can create another street like the 5th Avenue in New York City[!] while I wouldn't even go through this neighbourhood, if I wanted to go to the east side of the city! But frankly the fact is I lived in this neighbourhood back in 2006! One of many mistakes I have done in my life and that was the time that Ray the Microbe fooled me to become his roommate. Although nothing major happened at the time, a total of 13 months, but after that I had to move out and find another place while I had a comfortable apartment of myself in a good part of Downtown. In a nutshell, stay the hell away from the so-called International Avenue and the areas around, there's nothing there for a visitor or a newcomer to the city unless you're a war refugee or someone in that level of life. Then you're gonna love it but clashed between the races is always there!)

The Role of Chance in Life

I went to work, as usual, the other day and I went to the office to ask something when the supervisor told me that our main QC guy wants me to be his assistant! I was surprised but pretended that I didn't understand what he meant and went: I have to finish this order! He, in response, said: No! It is a position. I said: I'd be happy to help him. The guy said that they wanted to add someone to their team to help and then I went back to work.
Who wouldn't want to join a lousy team?! No education and no experience is needed! I don't do much and get paid as much as I do now, perhaps more! There'll be OT for this type of job and I even might go back to 6-day schedule format. I heard from my last interview that they didn't need me. The damn certificate cost me another position. I also received a message from Indeed indicating that there have been as many as 83 people applying for this position!
So I later went to him and pretended that I was confused(!) and asked him what he wanted me to do. He said: Not now!
The guy is a fat, short, Hispanic fella whom has always been treated with respect by me although I have little to no respect for him, at all! He's lazy, incompetent, useless and obese in a bad way! He drinks the disgusting sugary Iced Cappuccino and eats greasy, disgusting doughnuts and sandwiches in the morning! But who cares?! My false respect for him has given me the opportunity to escape this misery that I'm in now! Besides since he seldom stays past the regular hours and never works OT, I might have the chance, as I mentioned earlier, to get good number of OT. There's another idiot who works in this, so-called, department: An old, ugly, slow, lazy Oriental woman! This moron, who barely speaks English, starts at 10:00! She's as bad as her boss and I wonder what they expect from me because there was another fella who joined them more than a year and a half ago but they kicked him out shortly after he started! The guy, who happened to help me a lot when I first started there, vanished after that! He used Corona-19 as an excuse and disappeared! I was later told that he had found a night-shift job for $20 an hour or so!
I didn't hear anything from the guy during the day. My assumption is that he's waiting for the manager to come in order to make it official unless he already has regretted what he's offered! We'll see how my chance plays his role here!
(Photo: For most of Westerners, and many other people around the globe, as far as I've seen, everything leads to alcohol, drugs, women/men and gambling! No wonder why a good chance for them would be anything which leads to booze!)

The First Interview of 2022

I spent a considerable amount of time on preparing my resume for two companies last week. I got a call from the first one, which I won't reveal its name and after finishing my preparation for the ConocoPhillips position, their website simply had this message: " position does not exist any more "! I was quite upset and frustrated but then a few days after that I saw a message on my phone from someone representing the first company. The moment the message ran, I realized that the fella was an Iranian! Very easy from his accent! I called him when I got home and an interview was scheduled for a day in this week. The meeting was through Microsoft Teams and since I had experience from a previously failed(!) interview, there was no problem. The interview went well and he was a very nice guy. I had gone through his profile as you can find most of the people's these days on the web, and I realized that despite a slow start in the old country, he has done very well in Canada and he well deserves the position he has been holding for the past 5 years or so. Then at the end a certificate came up and I guess it ruined everything! Yes! I, the idiot, have registered for the freaking exam.(s) in 2017(!) and have postponed it! I could say that he was not really happy and I know my chances are low but what can I do? I'm paying for my stupid mistakes. It was a mistake going to Quebec for the CBSA College. I'm not a type of guy who can keep so much crap in my mind and then pass the damn exam. That's why I'm here. So while my chances for this position are not good, we'll have to wait and see.
(Photo: Corona Virus pandemic which is closing to its second year of existence, has been the cause of a number of meeting software so people do not have to be in close contact during their interview. It seems that working together is fine but I understand the logic behind that and have no issue with it)

Supporting the Criminals

I've written earlier that Canada is " the heaven for criminals " whether they are born in the country or they come in and I'd like to repeat it! I was driving to Downtown Calgary a few weeks ago and while passing the D. I. (Drop-In Centre, for the one who don't know what it stands for), I saw tents were put on the side of the road and next to the building. D. I. is a non-for-profit organization, a big multi-floor building which shelters homeless in Calgary. It's fine but the issue is the majority of homeless is criminal. They're drug-addicts and drunkards who any chance they get break into your home of car or attack you for whatever you have on you.
My car was broken into twice when I used to live in Downtown Calgary, twice! The bastard took everything: CDs, flashlight, GPS, you name it and of course CPS cannot do anything about it. I filed a report with them the first time it happened. I didn't even bother the second time! The funny thing is there're organizations rather the D. I. which support these criminals, including The Mustard Seed! They send me donation request letter once in awhile! It's inevitable for someone who has gone through a bad time, not to be a drug-addict and drunkard! It's wildly acceptable in the society! They believe in resorting to substance to calm themselves! " They have no choice "! It's believed here!
With that said when I heard that CPS have removed the criminal nest next to D. I. just a few days back, I was a bit happy, although they would move to other " holes " and will continue their savage acts.
The mindless tugs who are interrupting life in Downtown Ottawa or blocking Alberta-Montana border at Coutts port of entry and other parts of the country are not better than the drug-dealer and stabbing homeless. They should be treated the same because of the damage they have been doing to the minds of people and economics of the country.

The Real Simple Life

I went for a little shopping today and that was after I got a hair cut. A simple hair cut at a very regular place, not luxury and nice with beautiful girls, cost me nearly $28(!) including tax and tip. I did a little more than $40 grocery shopping at a Safeway. And what did I get? Just basic stuff: A dozen Eggs, a jar of Peanut Butter, two Astro Yogurts, a small bag of Broccoli, a small bag of frozen Salmon (for the first time in the last 2 years I decided to have some Fish and that hasn't been for the cost solely. It's part of my diet to avoid seafood), a bag of Coffee Beans (I make fresh Coffee the days I'm home) and that was it. Nothing fancy, nothing ready, no snacks, no fruits! I wanted to buy a container(!) of Feta Cheese. It's 1 kg. It was $23! I didn't!
On the way home I decided to stop at a Hideous-Mart (Known commonly as Wal-Mart!) to buy a small pack of Pita Bread. That was one I realized that the bastards have increased the price from $2.77 to $2.97 while at the same time the same Feta Cheese was sold for $16! A $7 difference! That's somebody's lunch and there's people in the country who have to work half an hour to earn that! My last stop was a local gas station. $40 got me a little more than 27 liters.
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie on the set. They no longer are friends, i read somewhere. Not that it's important but the show was not bad
These are basic and unavoidable cost of life. It was sitting at a nice or even average restaurant and eating a good meal, not going to a bar, not a the movies, not taking a date out to dinner(!), nothing fancy. Just basic and simple things that a normal person needs to survive and though it cost a lot in a way that I'm really being careful. I never shopped at Hideous-Mart or similar for many years  and then when I had a good job, we only went there because my wife wanted or there were things that we didn't find in other supermarkets. Now I have gone so low that there're items that I need to get them from the said store or I don't buy it at all! Now I'm living a simple life!
If you watched TV regularly, you probably remember Simple Life in 2003. It was a TV series that Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, the main characters, would go to small towns and rural areas to experience their life style. They always made fun of them or were in shock of their life which was nothing but basics. I used to watched on CTV but know I don't even have a television set! I'm more in simple life than any one else. I think and nothing will change it but a real job which is not easy to come by. Another solution would be making a series based on my struggles in life and calling it the title of this post!
(Photo: I took this from the pump I used today. I still have to figure out " Corrected to 15 degrees " mean! In fact it'd a good question to add people!)

The Sh*t Must (Not!) Go on!

I finally received a message form that Government department which I had an interview with back in Dec. and the result was a big goose egg! I am not selected! It means the disaster continues! It means I have to continue this disgusting labour job and deal with all the low-life motherfucker, cheap asshole from different slums of the world! No! I'm not being mean or rude and I don't look down on people. That's what they are. That, however is not the point of this post. I lost a permanent job with very good salary and benefits which could guarantee a comfortable life and now I have no choice but working harder.
As the first step I registered to re-write the CWB Level I Inspector examinations (some people are laughing at me by reading this part but it's okay) and I've already started studying and job searching. The problem is I lost another opportunity as well. There would've been a chance to go out with The Blue Eyes Lady, had I been given the position because she said " she would not hang out with the guys from work ". I could've walked into her office and while saying good bye, I could've asked her out and there would've been a chance. Now with this misery, I can't ask her out again until I find a position and get the hell out of the " Cotton Field ".
(Photo: I chose the title of this post from the song of Queen, The Show Must Go on. Queen's front man/vocalist, first from right, Freddy Mercury's parents, were Persians, who are known as Parsa in India, who had fled Persia when Arabs invaded the empire. They later moved or were moved to Tanzania, similar to many East Indians whom were moved around the world by the British and then he started his career in the UK. He died of AIDS in 1991. I remember reading about him passing away in a local newspaper in the old country. It was a surprise as how something of such nature was given permission to be printed as there's no news about Western music of any kind usually covered in Iran. The media is not simply allowed to. I thought it'd be nice to give some information about Farrokh [Freddy] while using his song for my post! A sort of tribute/appreciation!)

More Protection

While there's so much tension in Ottawa over the vaccination mandate and the Alberta-Montana border is, if I'm not wrong, blocked by the trucker protestors, particularly at the Coutts Port of Entry, I decided to get my third dose of vaccine! I'm thinking of having one or two trips out of the country this year and despite the fact that the situation is not so good, I keep the positive attitude and hope for the best.
I went to my local pharmacy a couple of weeks ago and I was told that I should have gotten the same brand of vaccine as the third dose similar to what I had for the second one. At the time they only had Moderna. So when I went this week, I was told that Pfizer was available and I got it. I got the paper too, in case the authorities at any border want to see that. There hasn't been any side affect so far but a little pain on the shoulder when it was administrated.
(Photo: Many talk about the negative side affects of vaccination. There might be. I don't know but at the moment my decision is to get vaccinated in case I need to get the hell out of the country. The interesting thing is that my cousin who is a physician and live in California now [we haven't talked since 2006!] told my aunt, her Mom, nearly 8 months ago that a third shot would be needed. He was right!)
